Matt O's Ultra4 Buggy - EOR Racing #4462

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild

Matt, how bout the lining on the interior panels? Did it help with the heat? (I know it was cold outside and all but figured I'd as anyway.)

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild

Daniel, the interior panels seem great. No noticeable heat, but has also been cold. Thanks again, it looks 1000 times better

I have taken the buggy out twice, and I have two more days of riding planned before KOH. Still need to finish up some small stuff like window net mounts and some tech issues, but nothing major.

I have put the new PRP seat covers on and both sides will be in tonight. Other than that, I just need to mount the new skins and sticker them up for the race!

Yeah, the seats still have some wrinkles in them. They need some fat asses in them for a day of riding! Problem solved! See you on Sat AM.

P and I are gonna do nets on Saturday if anybody wants to hang around.

Update:

I have taken it out 3 times since the changes and all is well. No issues on the trail except fuel pump wiring which is now fixed (fingers crossed). Have one more weekend of wheeling coming up then it is getting cleaned up and waiting for the trailer. I really like the new gear ratio and the new mods are cool. The top window net mounts are on and I ordered some slim profile hose clamps for the bottom. Here are some of the latest mods:

New Seat Covers Installed

Being sponsored by a light manufacturer (Grote) has its perks! The CEO saw pictures of my rig and said it needs more lamps. So I now have two of these! These are going on a mini top mounted light bar that Jimmy at EOR is gonna fab for me.

This is a Trilliant LED Work Lamp. Mine are spots with a 1/4 mile range. These are the same lamps that Baja Designs sells, they are made by Grote for them. If you have any LED needs check into Grote, they are the best in lighting and electrical products. I have 6 of their lamps on my rig.

I ran out of money on the GPS, but Fred Hill from FL let me borrow this new unit from his boat. I need to mount it higher since it has an internal antenna and will not work where it is.

Did i see right that these lights sell for around $400 a pop?

The story on those lights are that they are badass! They were designed to compete with HID lights. 18 LEDS power draw of less than 4 amps. The lens cover determines pattern, mine are spot with a 1/4 mile range. You can also get a flood pattern. Retail is $450/each. I can get them for cheaper but not exactly sure how much. Mine were part of a sponsorship deal so I paid cost. I could of bought 3 for the price of one retail and had money left over....

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild
