Matt O's Ultra4 Buggy - EOR Racing #4462

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild

Thanks for the help P we got a lot done in a few hours! Pulling the interior is time consuming but damn it makes things easier to access. Changing fluids in tranny and tcase is gonna be much easier. I have cleaned up all the AL panels with the flap wheel so they are ready for paint. Gonna pull the buggy out this weekend and wash the **** out of it. Funny all the dirt you find when you start pulling panels that never come off!

Looks good guys. I think you should wheel it without any skins.

Yeah spring rate is plenty, it was setup with a 42" tire in the back. Jimmy at EOR is all about some forward thinking! Mofo didn't even drive it or pull it around the shop when it had air shocks on it. He said that it would bias his seat of the pants feel once he installed coilovers because the air shocks were so bad!

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild

Little Update, all the parts that never get clean are clean now! I put it in a good spot in the garage and set it up on jackstands. I have finished tearing it apart except for the grill shell. It is basically a roller as the axles and drivetrain are still in place, everything else is out. I have mounted the rear facing amber, replaced the tranny mounts with the "updated" part from S&N and pulled the driveshafts. P pulled the front shaft and it is in fine shape. Rear has 3 caps that have broken seals on the caps (Life Series joints), I will be getting new caps today. I have been cleaning and painting all parts as I pull them out. Interior panels are ready to get lined, new hood will get narrowed tommorrow and I will start going through the axles on Thursday. Thanks to everybody that has helped me out thus far, P, Hailey, Joe, Tommy (TK's buddy), Jason at S&N and of course Jimmy and the guys at EOR. Lots more to go, will get some pics up soon. Not really much to look at though. Will be picking up my skins and some other small aluminum pieces this week

We meeting Haley at the bat cave tommorow still ? I may bring a lil project of my own for when you two do not need my hands to hold the hood project... thumb.gif

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild

Yeah we are meeting there tommorrow after work. I will be there around 5:30 or so depending on when I get out of work. His place is about 45 minutes from me, see you there!

Re: Matt O's S&N Fab Buggy Updates & KOH Prep/Rebuild

Haley is a hood cutting mofo. Took it over to the school last night and he had it cut and welded together in like two hours. I let the skilled craftsman do the work, I just held it together for him! P and Lay come over also. Fastest project I have ever done, probably because I did not do anything :flipoff1:

I am going to test fit it all on the rig tonight and if all goes well start taking the rear axle apart to check it out. Thanks again Haley!

Yeah it is a Chrysler Sunburst Orange and that is what I will go with. I think it will look good with my sliver tubework.

Very good point, I prefer Throat Lotion white or Throat Yogurt white. Both are solid choices
