Good luck Mahan. Tell Randall to get well soon. Wish I was there this year but work calls but hopefully soon I will be done with this overseas ****. I got a buggy to finish and hills to beat on!

Well me and Austin have made it to the Americas Best Value Inn and tomorrow we start setting up!!
 
What time is every one getting ther sat? Am coming in from atl on interstate 20.

What courses are being used and does this mean we can't ride on them at all or just when the comp is going on that course? I'm just coming Saturday for a day ride.

Man I just opened this thread to see what was going on. THE Derrick Mahan in Rage!?!?!?! If you don't swap the frog horn over to it you ain't a man. :****:

I need to see some buggies in the morning! 8am drivers meeting load up and get out to Morris Mountain.
 
what a great weekend! It was definitely a bummer that we only had 9 rigs there to compete and that was after begging people to enter! Best weather I have ever seen at Morris Mountain, lots of traction...which means carnage! since there were so few rigs, we were able to run all the courses in one day and only 4 rigs finished all of them.
There will be pics and vids coming in the next few days.

Great to see some old friends and meet some new ones! Looking forward to the next time.

There were just so many things going on this weekend, I'm sure that affected participation and spectating. I for one am so broke I can't even pay attention, so I sat at motor house all weekend. Sorry I missed the spectating. I love the show this always puts on!

Had a great time seeing some old friends and meeting some new folks. :dblthumb:
 
I want to thank everyone in attendance for another incredible SETTC. We had 9 teams and by the end of the day saturday we had 4 left. 2 of them were wounded. I want to thank every team that came and gave it their all. I want to thank all the guys who showed up and put on a red shirt to get the job done.

Mark Jensen from ORI Struts Stepped up and provided the $1,000 winners money!

Tom From Carolina Drivelines provided and amazing $2,000 worth of gift certificates for the event!

I had an awesome time and I believe most everyone else did too. All I know is the little guy with the little single seater was making everyone sweat!!!!

I think Sam and John G should both enter next year.....Sammy was putting a helluva lot of pressure on Travis and LC for sure :woody:
 
Man what a weekend.... Had loads of fun....entered in settc for ****s and giggles & placed 3rd.....

Thanx to Jack Carroll in helping me out with the winch line on punisher and copperhead I knew those 2 obstacles would give me hell before I entered the comp, so I had made my mine up I was going to try it the first time then winch .... thanx to the Travis in giving me words of wisdom on some of the courses....Thanx to the event organizers, volunteers, competitors & sponsors this was fun... :dblthumb:

Damage report on the one seater none ... cleaned and check ready to :driving: this weekend.....
 
Yep Sam was super smooth and very consistent. I got a feeling he will try to win it next year so you big guys had better get ready.

im sure sam doing some upgrades. I think u should make a new rule NO WINCHING. I told Derek I didn't care if he blew it up as long as he didn't winch. winches r 4 recovery.
