MOAB or RUBICON

The other difference is that the Rubicon is a trail. Moab is a collection of a huge number of trails. I just got back from four days of trails in Moab (my 6th trip).

You can chose to run one or two trails in a day, at least on some of the trails. Others, like Golden Spike or Behind the Rocks are a full day. Some obstacles are technically challenging, others are just gut checks.

As you can tell, I love the place, but I wouldn't consider going to Moab in July. In mid-May, the days were in the 90s. In July it will be well over 100 and you really have to work to find any shade.

IMHO, Moab.

I was going to run Moab this year, but I don't have the time or money due to the wifes vacation schedule. So we are going to run the 'con instead.
