More Cougar ....

.... the new / used tranny is just about in, I just got the driveline back from being shortened, balanced, and a new yoke put on, brakeline is extended and hooked up, shocks are on.... picked up new factory driveline bolts today from the Ford dealership...

Need to finish up tranny, install driveline, fill all fluids, bleed brakes, and figure something out w/ the Ebrake cables... then she can go for a test spin! Hope to get it most of the way done on Saturday

If the kids didn't help with the Cougar then they should find their own way to and from the airport. just saying. they move out of the house and still need their parents. :wtf: still waiting for more pics. and that sucks about "another" PS hose.

One is 13 and one is 15:)

These are the only pics that I grabbed yesterday...

This is looking from the rear to the front. The offset pinion of the 8.8 doesn't seem to bother anything. I have had it up to 90 so far w/ no vibration

Front to rear...

Backing plates were cut down and cleaned up. I kept a little piece of the stock perch for the brake line to bolt to. On the drivers side I had to move it over a bit because it was in the way. On the pass side it was fine once it was cut way down

And back on all 4s before the first test spin

Now she is back up on 3 until I fix the steering line... again...

Anyone have any experience w/ the Borgeson Saginaw style aftermarket PS boxes for these type of vehicles? They eliminate this bullshit hydraulic ram / control valve setup.
