More fire safety ( fire suppresion systems)

Rays lil buggy doesnt have room for a tire/tools or a stereo but I made sure to leave a spot to put the safecraft bottle:dblthumb:

Well i my case , it is a race car .That does not have a radio or cooler,very few tools but it does have a spare tire. We are already required to have 2, 2.5 lb bottle on the exterior and 1 2.5 lbs one the interior. I will be studying on how to get the 4th 5 lb bottle on there.

I hear you. And it isn't a criticism, just the way I look at it. They will eventually be as common as harnesses. With popularity comes insurance costs. On that same note, some consider the weight savings worth it to not have fire extinguishers I'm sure.

Im sure the coldfire agent works great, I didnt see it approved by any major racing series at the time, while safecraft was on every race car I saw so we went that route. The whole having to refill/charge the bottle brought up a few concerns of "what ifs". After installing Rays and seeing how nice the safecraft kit was, it just became my go to suggestion.

Got ya. I'm sure they are both good. I definitely don't regret the cold fire. I like the ability to recharge and re fill it. I know I wouldn't change the other kind out after 5 years like you are supposed to.
