Thanks Guy's motivation has been hard to come by but i'm trying lol

Small Update spent a small fortune on NI99 rod ( cough $110.00 a lbs ) but I paid less then half that and I also bought 10 lbs of filler rod for the chassis :gapteeth: for a deal that I couldn't pass up.. like close to the amount I paid for 1lbs around here ;D ;D ;D ;D now if my life would slow down I might be able to make some more forward progress

I did manage to go out a mock up the engine skid side plates and they fit near perfect. I do need to open up the bolt hole for the lower link a bit but other then that it's dead on. now I need to drill the side hole's where it attached to the block. a few months ago I bought a set of metric transfer screws so that will go quick. Also getting the brackets for the front axle cut out so the front should be done very soon.....time permitting

GOT MY ARP HEAD STUDS,MAIN STUDS AND ROD BOLTS IN ....IT'S LIKE PORN

I DID GET A LIL SIDE TRACKED ON THIS LIL GEM

SHE'S A 67 F-100 SHORT BED 2X WITH A MIGHTY 240 6 CYL AND A 3 ON THE TREE. MY DAILY DRIVER IS/WAS A 93 2 DOOR YUKON WITH A FACTORY 5 SPEED AND ITS ON 35'S WITH 4.56 GEARS THIS LIL TRUCK GET'S JUST OVER 20 MPG WHICH SAVES ME AROUND $20.00 A WEEK IN FUEL SO FAR. I PLAN ON JUST DRIVING THIS THING AND MAKE IT A CLEAN DRIVER/ CRUISER. SLAM IT ON THE GROUND

Finally got around to working on the front truss and bracket's. now that I have a 1.5 week break from sports with my boy's. The lower link's where bugging the crap out of me and how they seemed unsupported, so i looked around and found some idea's but none appealed to me . so this is what i came up with. I do wish they where angled but not a big deal. I made some templates and had the drafts man here at work draw them up in CAD then I ask Jesse to cut them out. All in all very happy with the out come

Well since last weekend was basicly my last free weekend I went out and worked on it a bit more. I finished fine tuning the truss then tack welded it all together to double check everything once it's under the chassis :clap: also went down and bought more link material ( pvc ) and made the other two links to be sure how it looked and worked good. also cut out some quick .125 tabs to mock up the upper's. I knew the motor mounts I whipped up would be tight but once everything was in I'm not happy with them so I'm redoing them now. I've drawn up a few different designs but none of them do it for me so here are more pics

Hate to hear that! A man can't have anything nice these days without someone else wanting it. Don't lose the faith on the buggy though. Far too nice to get rid of now!

NOT ALOT OF PROGRESS. BEEN RUNNING LIKE A WILD MAN. OLDEST JUST FINISHED BASKETBALL AND TWO DAYS LATER STARTED TRACK. HE KICKED ASS. HE SET A GOAL OF 200 POINTS THIS YEAR AND ENDED UP SCOREING 212 IN 21 GAMES. MY YOUNGEST HAS BEEN DOING WRESTLING AND IS JUST KILLING EVERYONE THIS YEAR. LAST YEAR HE HAD A COUPLE KIDS THAT HE JUST COULDNT BEAT. WELL THIS YEAR HE IS KICKING THERE ASS :Big Grin: COME TO FIND OUT ONE KID WAS RANKED 3RD IN THE NATION LAST YEAR AND ANOTHER WAS 5TH IN THE NATION. WENT TO THE FOLKSTYLE CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR CALIFORNIA AND HE CLEANED HOUSE WITH ALL FIRST ROUND PINS. THEN A COUPLE WEEEKS AGO WE TOOK HIM TO VACAVILLE FOR THE ST. VALENTINES DAY MASSACRE. WE WHERE TOLD THE BADDEST OF THE BAD ASS KIDS SHOW UP HERE AND HE TOOK 1ST :Big Grin:.AND WAS BUMPED UP TO 200LBS CLASS. ANYWAYS STARTING THIS WEEK I AM NOW 7 DAYS A WEEK FOR WRESTLING MIDDLE SCHOOL IS 5 DAY A WEEK PRACTICES WITH SATURDAY MATCHES. I WANTED A REAR TRUSS THAT WENT FROM FLANG TO FLANG. I COULDNT FIND ONE THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND WHEN I DID THE PRICE MADE MY ASS PUCKER. SO I ORDERED UP THE RUFF STUFF TRUSS AND PROMTLY STARTED CUTTING IT UP TO MAKE WHAT I WANT

AND THE PINION SUPPORT AND SHOVEL...LOL

I REORDERED NEW SEAT'S AND I EXPECT TO HAVE THEM IN A COUPLE WEEK'S

THE LOWER FRONT LINKS ARE STILL AT KICK ASS OFFROAD WAITING FOR THEM TO BE FINISHED

I ORDERED UP A BALLISTIC 14 BOLT SHAVE KIT AND A PILE OF OTHER CRAP THAT SHOULD BE HERE THIS WEEK.
