Don't take this the wrong way I'm not trying to be an ass but ditch it and run a motorcraft 2100 w/1.08 venturis. Webbers are fine once they are dialed in but I'm on a CJ only forum as well and alot of guys get fed up with the webber before they get it right.
Haveing said all that, did you buy it new? if so money's allready spent do what you can. If it's been on there for a while think about the swap.
Lastly webbers usually work best with a fuel pressure regulator turned down to 3-5psi (IIRC)
lastly lastly think about 4.0 head and MPFI you will absolutely never regret it, I can help.
