Got 5" of fresh snow outside right now, cant tell if its still snowing or not cause of the wind, still have power though. Hopefully there will be more snow when i wake up a little later
 
The only wind we saw last night was coming out my ass.

The weather dickheads we have in this state suck ass :rolleyes:
 
Anyone got a ggenerator we can borrow? Ours siezed up last night. No heat without.Also lost water. If not no biggie we can head to my parents. Also no power but at least a wood stove. Lots of trees down.
 
no power outage here and last night around 9 we had 6" total.. Not sure what it is now. Waiting for more snowfall tonight. :cheer: . North bend and Enumclaw got hit with wind it sounded like. But not near as bad as they were scaring everyone with.
 
Lost power earlier this morning for about an hour. Looks like about 3" of new snow and still coming down pretty good.

The only time they are right is during the summer when they say it will be partly clouds :rb:
 
What a lame "storm" :shaking:

We ended up with maybe 3"-4" of new, and never even heard the wind from inside the house.
 
wind howled like a ***** all through the night, and still have dissapating gusts right now. lost power once.

got called at around 2am to go fetch the roomie and her boyfriend stuck in a snowdrift on wagner road, there was a drift in the middle of the lane they were driving on and got high centered in their f-150.

got bundled up, and loaded up a bunch of shovels, flashlights, recovery straps and headed for the truck, couldn't get in, damn locks and doors were frozen shut. played johnny fawk fawk with heating the locks to melt them and gave up due to time, and I was concerned about getting to them in a timely fasion, went back inside, dug out the jeep, and smacked the top of the garage door with the roll bar of the jeep trying to drive out becuase of all the snow that drifted and compacted up against the garage door. :mad:

get down to the entrance and during the time that I was trying to get to them a sherriff pulled up and started digging them out of being high centered, and 'pushed' them with her rig, only to get stuck herself.

right before the sheriff pulled up, someone came by my roomie and her boyfriend stuck in the road, lost control and sideswiped the truck and kept going. Shaved off the mirror and added new pin striping all the way to the tailgate, and tore off the lights and the bumper. What a prick- didn't stop to exchange information or see if they were alright, just kept going.

nope friends that were stuck in the road, were sideswiped, driver that hit them never stopped, just kept going.
 
Still snowing here. Last night when we went to bed I measured 11" in the wife's car. Then I guess it rained or something because it compacted, right now its at 9" and coming down hard.

We have a bunch of white stuff here in brier. All the hills are "closed" and it coming down hard.

I made a quick trip to the airport this morning and the further south I got the less snow there was...howver that was then.

I managed to take a quick trip aroung the hood in the sami and now there is anitifreeze coming out the the heater vents.....:rolleyes:
 
We have everything back now. Lost power at 10pm and it came back on sometime this morning. Just got cable back. We dodged a bullet up here. I would estimate the largest gusts around 1am were right at 70mph instead of the 90 the predicted. A couple of huge firs came down over Florence Acres right by where the wood bridge used to be and there are a couple big ones over the lines right above me. The winds were no worse than a couple we had during the thunderstorms last summer.
 
Been snowing here all day. I would say throughout the day we got another 3"s. But its wet snow and compacts easy. Wait till this **** melts. We'll have flooding just like last year.
 
according to weather.com it doesnt look like its going to go real warm this week. hopefully the temps slowly go up so we dont have the flooding issues. If it warms up too fast and rains in the mountians we're ****ed.

chances of seeing pavement before the new year in our neighborhood are forecasted at slim to none.
 
Well Pud teased us with power for a couple min but it quickly went back out. They have been up here all day clearing trees. When we get power/cable back I'll have some cool pics. One neighbor lost a car to fallen tree. Had plenty of wind and some snow but not a lot of snow. Sure are a lot of drifts though.
