Might be a good idea to talk to him about future confrontations. There is always someone out there that can put a whoop on him. Or for that matter someone whom may not choose to use their fists. A big head just gets people in trouble...

Tell him next year he will be the little guy in school again. (My kid's high school took the old elementary school bully down a peg or two when he went against the Grade 12s. Of course he didn't dare attack one of my boys before that anyways. The other 2 would come and dog pile him!)
