Like it says a I am a newbie not to just this site but to Crawling also. My name is Tony I'm 53 so I'm a old guy. Simi retired tool and die machinist. In the last 40+ years if it had wheels I have done it except Crawling/bouncing and Rally. I went from BMX to motocross then to drag boats to drag racing, road racing dirt track. In the last 10 years I started building rat rods. Design and fabrication is one of my biggest enjoyment. So it's time to build a crawler and enjoy the good life!

Welcome to the forum. Considering your past hobbies, how'd you come across Crawling/bouncing?

How'd you find the forum?

I have been following Iceland formula offroad for a while so I contacted Marton Michaelsen the builder and driver of 2 insane several months ago with the idea of building one. He told me to look up Busted knuckle and watch the bouncers and crawlers. So that's what I did and then with pic copies of his plans for 2 insain I started playing on cad redrawing his pics and converting them from metric to standard. So with any build I like to have some what of a print to keep me focused or I bounce all over the place(no pun intended). So I did a search for coolant through the frame and found this awesome group! So here I am

Was just curious, but that's a very cool and unusual way to end up here.

Yea kinda went the long way around. I never knew there was so many places to go Crawling here in Oklahoma till I started this journey.

Well after long thought where would you go play or race after built. We could take it to western oklahoma to the dunes then once a year to Tennessee when they come over from Iceland. To go over there is out of question as a shipping contractor is like $19,000 to ship 1 way. So we decided to build a sorta kinda street legal rat rod crawler. Getting close to having all the parts I want just some parts left to find or build.
