It's a 69 f100 body on a 73 f250 chassis, 390 engine np435 trans w/divorced 205 tcase, ff60 rear and a broke ass HD44 front, stock height w 33" boggers. Lose 18" out of the frame to obtain 115" wheelbase. 2. replace 44 with a 60 3. Re wire EVERYTHING because the previous owner clearly didn't own a manual, wire strippers, soldering gun or common sense! 4. a minor rebuild on the 390, mostly just clean it up and have it acid dipped (there's a good bit of gunk in the block) possibly pick up an aluminum intake and new carb. I hope to have this POS on the trail sometime next spring.

How it sits today

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

[QUOTE="Bsrankin, post: 409456, member: 9339"] New to the forum, my name is scott I live in black creek ga (outside savannah) I've been off-roading most my life, mostly mud but I'm changing my ways and aiming for trails and rocks. Here is my current project/ lawn ornament or paperweight. It's a 69 f100 body on a 73 f250 chassis, 390 engine np435 trans w/divorced 205 tcase, ff60 rear and a broke ass HD44 front, stock height w 33" boggers. I bought it not running in March, got it running and soon after started the teardown once I found the number of issues the previous owner forgot to mention. My to do list: 1. So she's sitting for a while as I save parts money, wrench and web wheel. I hope to have this POS on the trail sometime next spring.
