np435 stuck in 1st

Took my 72 bronco out for drive after sitting for a while. Drove and ran fine then when I put into 1st and it won't come out? Tried popping the clutch, feathering it everything to change the load and no dice. Any ideas before I pull eveything out to take it apart?

Sounds like a bind in your shift assembly.

took it apart and a missing c-clip on the reverse plunger cause everything to jam.

Had the similar issue with mine awhile back. Just gotta work through the quirks

C clip drain out of the oil or is it MIA?

my guess, neither.

probably stuck between two gears, or, fell to bottom of the case.

Mia at this point. I'll do a thorough look prior to putting it back together.
