OK here's my problem, my '97 wrangler with a 2.5L 4 banger has been broke and sitting for 6 months or so. I finally got off my ass to get rid of the turd 35 and I almost have it done. I am trying to get it out of the garage and now it won't start. It has always been OLD FAITHFULL but not now, it's like it's not getting fuel. I put some lucas fuel sh.t in the tank a month ago or so and tried some starting fluid but didn't want to over do it. Is there a way to see if I am getting fuel? Any help would be nice.

**** TALKERS AND JACKASS' NEED NOT RESPOND I AM LOOKING FOR HELP NOT BULLSH-T

If it doesn't fire with a squirt of starter fluid, then your problem is spark. 1997s are OBD2, so you should be able to borrow a scanner, and help with your diagnosis.

Its a jeep :fawkdancesmiley: Push it!!!

Test spark at the coil....then move on....perhaps crank position sensor...If not that then call up Jeep to file a very angry complaint...If all else fails....fawk off.
