Got a good deal in a sweet little carry gun this week. Mint Ruger LC9s Pro with extended 9 rd magazine - single stack, the s stands for slim. Striker fired trigger is short pulled and light as my Glock's. Shoots very nice.

Crocs ftw! Lol.

Oh, and little man learned a valuable lesson today - don't pick up apples on the ground under the apple tree without looking to see if any bees are on em first. Lol

And this one's for Chevota...

Also picked me out a wedding ring, why can't hers be as cheap as mine? Haha.

Re:

The S stands for "striker".

Mine's in my pocket now. I carry the flush base 7rd in the gun and the 9rd in my left pocket with my phone.

Yeah no **** on the wedding ring. Mine was $28

Dang, I'm a dummy. Figured the s was slim since it's a single stack unit. Didn't realize the standard LC9 was single stack too, or I would have questioned the meaning of the "s" further.

My ole lady bought a LC9s a couple months ago, but its not the pro model. I like this pro model better, no manual safety and no magazine disconnect. I don't like restrictions lol. I figured for this pro model, factory box/papers, extra 9 rd mag, and box of 100 Federal fmj's for $350, couldn't pass it up. She gave $400 for just the gun at Academy before tax, but she was about to go to the beach with her boy and his little buddy by themselves and didn't want to wait on me to find a deal lol.

If you found a chick that travels with her own pistol, then you did very well for yourself. Congrats, that's awesome

She's pretty badass for a chick, I'm gonna buy her one of them new easy pull Echo weedeaters this week, they sold out and waiting on em to get back in stock. I like to roundup everything that I can't touch with a mower, but she said it looks better weedeated so we went and let her pick out a weedeater haha.

Her mom wasn't in her life growing up much so she didn't get much of the feminine learnings - which is ok with me, probably why we get along lol. Her dad raised 3 of em by himself pretty much, on a 7 house chicken farm, so she is no stranger to hard work and holdin' her own.

I bought it from a guy I went to school with that I hadn't seen in a long time. He listed it for $375 on one of the Facebook gun pages and I jewed him to $350. Helluva deal, I thought.

Haven't got much further into it then this...but I've got a new "small" block for the waggy :dblthumb: Pretty sure this thing has some kinda stroker crank in it as well, the sides and bottoms of the rods have been ground to clear the block/cam.

Lots of drivers do that. Truck stops are usually a couple miles from good eatin', drug and grocery stores, etc., and they are almost never truck accessible so having a bike is a good idea. A friend of mine keeps a crotch rocket behind his cab.

I'm sure it was but I would weigh each rod and piston to make sure it's balanced...
