Old coal train locomotive structure in the park on trail 34.
 
Neither had we,,,we were explorin trail 34 & the new trail 47 loop,,"nothin difficult on either trail" just a real cool 8 mile long trail ride we did,,,old coal locomotive structure,,,old coal mine entrance on the side of the trail,,and the worlds largest cudzu patch :o

It goes from outta the bottom of the big stadium on trail 34 and back up into trail 29 to the bottom of LIONS DEN.
 
we came up on that building when we were up there in august.. been wheeling there since 06 and its the first time we seen it... pretty cool.

have any of y'all located the new trail thats over in that area? i think they're calling it grasshopper hill. we were looking for it over there cause some locals had pointed it out on the map..

Naw ain,t never heard of grasshopper,,,,and we didn,t see the cool hill in the video either,,,Harlans just freakin huge yall,,,one day I will have rode on EVERY trail up there ,,,,,,

and then they will have built new ones ;D

Ha! I took that video in august...

That trail/obstacle is one of the first trails you come to from evarts side.. wasn't named or numbered we just happened to spot it as we drove by.. its on the opposite side of the main trail from the fish fossil entrance.. if you go through the curve as you pass fish fossil its on the right and turns back down hill

in the harlan thread on pirate some guys cut a trail and named it grasshopper back in the spring... can't find any evidence that it exists tho lol..
 
AHHHH,,,I saw a sign that said STEEL HILL right there that looked like a tiny loop,,,hmmm musta been it ;D

LOTS of trails that ain,t on them maps at HARLAN,,,,hell them maps they sell are just a basic main frame of the trail system anyways,,,,were always explorin up and down trails that are not even on them maps anyway,,,

and sometimes find cool stuff to wheel or just trail ride on ;D

We were there the weekend they cut that trail. Were going to go up with Shuppe and help but my trans took a dump Friday morning and we left early.
