Scoped hurts for a couple days, you'll feel way better in a week or less. I've had 4 knee surgeries. ACL sucks.
They did both my ACL's on the same day, used my own hamstring tendons from both legs. That rehab kinda sucked. I was wheelin 11 days after though.

I couldn't imagine both at once, I had part of my meniscus removed 2 weeks before my ACL. When I went to PT my whole leg was leg black, they sent me to the ER to look for a blood clot. All the PT people said they were killing me having 2 surgeries in 2 weeks.

It's Monday

Or he was an under cover agent for the FBI, who was sent down their to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan. Probably went as far as tearing Wallace stickers off the bumpers of cars. and he voted for George McGovern for president......

Name that song....

Here's a fun fact, I own his old lake houses down at Lake Martin. I didn't know it when I bought it, but his grand son has come over and given us the run down on the place. Pretty cool piece of history. thumb.gif

Ol Charlie, Uneasy Rider of course. I was 8 or 9 when Uneasy rider 88 came out. It got a lot of play time on the radio in the dairy barn so I knew that one by heart before I knew all of Uneasy Rider

We used to hunt with GW daughter and son in law, and did a lot of work for them when they built their house. Good people and would do anything for you.

Piper, how many of the stickers have you put on your vehicles?

Haha, I don't know whether to be flattered or worried when I tell people that. His grandson Patrick is buddies with the neighbor and came over during a 4th of July party and was cool as hell to give us the lowdown on the joint. :dblthumb:

Damn, that would be brutal. One was bad enough...My knee was still sore and puffed up like a basketball 5 days after surgery. Doc said 8 mo for full recovery. He wasnt kidding. It is much easier to recover the younger you are. I did mine in my early 40s
After about a week if I recall...

Is that mag worth the coin?

I sure hope it is. I've gotten Crawl for years and enjoy the Tech (will continue my subscription), but signed up for 4Low to get more of a Southern publication/coverage! Signed up for a subscription back on 12/9/16 and not gotten a magazine yet... :dunno:

Mine was right as I turned 33. My doctor told me 4 month full recovery, and that I could start direction changing agility type stuff at 3 months, so I ran a 5k at 3.5 months. Was a RZR codriver in KOH at 6 months and ran most every rock trail. I actually tore both of mine in my late teens and kept walking it off. I pay for it now quite a bit. I did build up a bunch of other ancillary muscles that I was band aiding not having ACL's with. I've always been athletic and made it work. Bad thing was when I would come down and my knee would come apart a bit and tear more cartilage, it was so much more painful than the initial injury that tore my ligaments. Lots of swelling and pain. The repair surgery hurt less to recover from than a few of my knee injuries from no ACL and coming down wrong off a jump.

It'll come. If you read the fine print somewhere when ya order it they'll tell ya how long it takes to start getting it. I ordered mine and it seemed to take forever so I got a hold of them and they explained it all. It'll come but it just takes awhile.

Yeah I figured it would be a couple of weeks, but not nearly two months.

From their website "All subscriptions started after the beginning of the newest issue month will recieve that following month's issue (*If you place your subscrition order on 15 September, your first issue will be the November/December issue)."

http://www.4lowoffroadmag.com/subscribe

I still remember getting burned by Crawl back when they first started up. I got one issue and never saw another one.
