Ya he's a big boy. My female was 100 and my red which was this ones brother was 105. We have a knack for picking big dobies I suppose.

That's a big reason I quit driving a wrecker. There's a wrecker driver killed every 6 days in this country. In the 2 years there was a couple killed in Columbus alone.

I have often wondered about that. I would be willing to bet that tow truck drivers are at more of a risk of being hit than we are. I've done numerous vehicle stops and I'm always leary of oncoming traffic, especially at night. When I was working in south Texas, after we had just caught a large group of illegals (aka unregistered democratic voters), and as we were placing the group into transport vehicles we were hit by a drunk driver. The drunk destroyed a BP Chevy 2500, his personal truck and damaged my BP Tahoe. I wound up underneath my Tahoe as it was being pushed over me. It was an act of God that no one was killed. That single incident was the closest I've ever come to dying on the job......that includes being shot at.

I could deal with the risk of being shot, but run over is a no-go for me.

People are more likely to get over for flashing red and blue lights because they're afraid of a ticket. If it's got flashing yellow lights they're much more likely to say **** it and go back to texting or Facebook at 70 mph.

Laying under a semi hooking it up or pulling a driveshaft in the dark, in the rain with cars and trucks flying by and rocking the truck your working on is a little eerie.

Im with ya on that. I hate laying under one near traffic. People wont give you an inch of room. One of our cattle haulers dropped a turbo the other day and pulled over on the shoulder and this lady came by us hauling ass and texting and damn near hit me. I honestly don't think she ever looked up from her phone and seen me or the truck and trailer

Must be on a train outta here. Seen this on way to work this morning about 100 cars.

They are going to finish this "season" and fulfill all the dates that they had set for them since last year.
Sad that PITA has the power to end something that had been going on for so many decades.
I took my kids last month just so they could see it one last time.

You have good taste in trucks.

Thanks. 2015 Ford Super Duty F350 SRW. 50,000 trouble free miles. Came from a Duramax, but the Ford is a way better truck.

I find the idea of a day without women to be a little risky.......what if they all skip work and then work realizes they didn't really need them to begin with? :rolf:

We went to a RBBBC once, paid a bunch for tix, it sucked. Couple months later went to the Shriner Circus for free, it was awesome. There was a chick with a BIG ol ass in front of us on the twirly fabric thing, made the whole thing worth it. drool

Naw I wanted to but couldn't find one I was happy with. Picked up a LQ9 and building it now to drop off in it. See just how much it likes the spray :driving:
