does have plenty of clearance in the sliding parts.

I used a uniball on one end of the tie rod and heim on the other. The cup is against the arm well enough it doesn't rotate.

I driven a lot of JUNK in my life but 35mph in a high clearance spreader like that is by far the sketchiest! You don’t know scared until have someone pull out in front of you, and you start looking for the brake pedal that’s not there. It is less driving that machine, and more suggesting where it should go and hope it does what you ask it too. :driving:

He bout ran several cars off the road in curves where his left tires were all the way in oncoming lane. One truck pulling a boat got all sketchy off in the grass when meeting it. I was waiting to have a front row seat to a wreck.

I'm picking up a 78 D350 this weekend if it's not raining too much. It's got the 400 not a diesel and the price is much better, it's free. Me and my little brother plan to fix it up and build him a tow rig.
