Got one of them home repairs also :dblthumb:

Y'all are both crazy :wtflol:

Back when I was working for a masonry company we would come in on Saturday's to do our touch up work. I would stick a pallet on the forks of the lull and stick some unlucky bastard up in the air to make the repairs. Our lull was only 50' so we had to rent a lift for anything higher than that. Didn't bother me one bit sitting in the seat looking up :****:

Was a lil sketchy but I made it.

There's this kind of cool time-lapse video floating around the net of a guy who rode from like Canada to South America on a dirt bike not using any highways. At one point he has to load the bike onto this rickety old third world ferry boat and the only ramp they had was a 2x4 spanning about 8 feet between the dock and the boat going about 3 feet up to the boat over water. Its a neat video weather your into bikes or not. The guy kind of goes bat-**** crazy from the loneliness.

I sold boards for a short while. Crappy job. I got used by the big wigs because I was fresh out of college. I would have rather been hanging vinyl with ya'll than pounding the streets in my truck. They gave me crappy inventory to sell and wouldn't let me sell any of the good ****. Everyone I talked to only wanted the good stuff. I put 50,000 miles on my truck in less than a year and replaced a burnt out trans. They made me turn in logs of everyone I went to including which boards they were interested in but I wasn't allowed to sell. Spent hours with clients sometimes trying to convince them to buy my inventory, only to be turned down because they only wanted the **** I wasn't allowed to sell. Once I couldn't make a living and burnt out, they sold nearly every damn business on my logs all the boards they they wouldn't let me sell.

I guess ultimately it was a good thing though because right now I have 3 boards up for my restaurants, all with Lamar. I went from selling to buying them and man do they hate selling to me since I know all the tricks and ins and outs of the business! I know exactly how low they'll go and don't pay a penny more. Funny how identical pricing is between companies. :)
