Worked out at the mine near Grayrock and today snapped a couple pics.

White Oak Ridge the hill you go over to get to the Canyon, Snake Creek, 160 Loop.

Do you teach welding class or autotech? My lame school wouldn't let us weld on cars in welding class but the autotech guys could. How does that make sense? lol

It is hard to tell since it has been so long since I last saw it, but yes Flat Tire Flume is right in that area.

I don't think so. Several years back, Tony told me he would not let them have it. If you look at the mining in the above pics, they have past that point and the earth has been reclaimed beside the canyon. Don't think it would make since to turn and go back and get it at this stage.

Classes are what the teacher makes them. The other 2 schools that have welding classes don't do ****. One does build the occasional trailer, but other than that they weld pads with 6010. The near buggy belongs to pholmann, the Ranger is mine, and the Cherokee belongs to an A/V guy somewhere in the school system. Hard to keep the boys focused on anything for more than 10 min, just about everything you see I did during my plan period. Now I know how to quote a job time-wise, "May be a month, may be a year. Just depends if I got a couple good kids or not."

Same here in AL. I got to meetings or other shops and all the teachers are doing are sticking kids in booths and welding all day
My question is always, they can weld but can they repair or build anything?
