Found this guy in my shop while building a dog house for my DW's dog.
Holy hell! Is that a local guy or did it come in the bag from somewhere else. I got some land I hunt on and have seen a few small ones like the size of a half dollar but that things looks like it would ruin your day. :****:

He is about the size of a half dollar. Maybe a tad bigger. I don't know hoe long he has been in that bag as it was there when we moved into this house. Before we moved in it had set vacant for 2 years.

Here is another random pic I just saw on Book of Faces.

I see them around my place from time to time. Mainly on the concrete floor inside the building. What do they feel like when they sting you? Worse then a red wasp?

The half dollar sized ones that are common in the SE are like a wasp sting I'm told. They were everywhere when I lived near Orlando.

I had one sting me arch of my foot, felt like stepping on a rusty nail and swelled up like a grapefruit .

The only place I ever seen em in East Tn was in Rockwood when I was a kid. My das's girlfriend had so many of em outside her house that dad told us she was a scorpion farmer.
