Anyone else notice the hilarity of the one white guy rocking out while the 4 black people are scared of drowning?

I saw a show on Nat Geo once about a white guy in Africa out on safari. He had hired a black guide to traipse around the wilderness with him and they ended up having to canoe down a river. They inadvertently floated over a hippo who promptly went on the rampage, flipping the canoe and attacking the white guy. He was stampeded under water, held under for long periods at a time, managed to swim to shore with just about every bone in his body broken where the hippo followed him, gored him repeatedly, and trampled him, leaving him for dead. He went into a coma on the bank for 3 days and eventually came to where he used his chin and broken bones to drag his carcass 300 yards to a small village who rushed him to a hospital where he spent 6 months in recovery, but ultimately survived.

His black guide drowned.

Moral of the story, don't go to Africa! :****:

My thoughts were how hilarious it was that all the black guy had to do was swim to safety but died whereas the white dude probably should have died but didn't. White guy survives despite the odds of dying, black guy dies despite the odds of living. I don't really consider myself racist but I'll be damned if that stereotype didn't play out in real life at least in that show.
