Here's another one...but I saw this one in person. I know some of ya'll are familiar with the 24hrs of Lemons race...well this was one of the racers here in Camden, SC. I definitely had to take a second look. Just wish I could have gone to the race to see it going around the track at speed...

I don't get all the Ford hate. When it comes to our fleet vehicles, Fords are the most trouble free trucks we have. The Chevys give us the most trouble. I just don't get it.

Retardation doesn't have to make sense. My 7.3 gives me great service. Truth is they are all made by man so get ready to have to ****in fix it

Alot of what I work on is ford products, most of their designs are just plain stupid to work on, for me anyway. A wrecker company bought us out recently, they have a lot of Gm one ton wheel lift trucks, something is always torn up with them. Dodge and chevy stuff breaks but it is easier to fix to me.

And that is the reason why they are easier to work on. They know they are going to tear up quickly but want you to feel better because it was easier to fix.

And the reason it seems like with fleet vehicles that Chevrolet tears up more, is because they sell about 10 or more to 1 Fords to Chevys... I'm always judge Chevy because of the discount my grandpa got. Had he retired from Ford I would more than likely be driving a Ford. Had he retired from Dodge, I dam sure wouldnt be driving a dodge!! Personally I think that both are good vehicles, I think Ford screwed a lot of customers over on the head gaskets. Shoulda been a recall. But who am i.. All I knows my Duramax has 220,000 miles, 2007, no problems. And will bust a mustangs ass anyday. :woot:

From the empty bottle

I've seen that ALOOOOOOOT lately! Seen a Blazer, Explorer, Cavalier, some Buick suv thing, a slap wore out company F-250 and now your van there. With people not buying new cars and sticking with used, the lack of maintenance astounds me. I can't afford another $400+ payment for a new one, so I HAVE to be on the up and up on my maintenance. I just don't get it... :dunno:

And thats what keeps me gainfully employed. Yes maam I know $1200 is alot of money to fix your 99 grand prix, but it's the equvalent to 3 months worth of new car payments....

I heard fords came with alot of camber to keep them from tipping over when they are parked on the side of the road in the ditch. :flipoff1:
