Night out in Huntsville, ****ing good time! Good food, good beer, and awesome ass cool weather! Damn I love me some Fall weather!


Finally got the front speakers installed. Kicker fr/rr coax speakers in the Saturn now, HUGE difference! Sounds wayyyy better!

Grilled some wings and had some good beer from Asheville tonight. Damn I love this weather!

I'm so pumped how the wings turned out, best I've cooked to date. I've been experimenting with seasonings and sauces for a while now and I believe I've finally got a solid recipe established, now.

So what was in the sauce?

Rinsed the wings, then seasoned them heavily with Applewood rub and Cajun seasoning (as most of it gets knocked off later), grilled them for a while with the just the seasoning on them, then tossed them in a mixture of Moore’s Wing Sauce (2/3) and some Dale’s Low Sodium (1/3) (Low Sodium Dale’s is thicker so it sticks to them better), threw them back on the grill to finish cooking until charred nicely, back into the sauce mixture for one more toss, then served.

It’s nothing real complicated, but damn they were good! Had to make myself stop eating them!

Rules at my house are simple I will share anything I have with anyone I am around, except hot wings and ribs. They are mine. We always liked entering hot wing category when we cooked in BBQ contests. We had a killer Jalapeno Apple glaze we would put on smoked wings, then we would fry them and retoss in the sauce and serve.

Damn that sounds good! Like batter and fry them then sauce them? I don't have a smoker, just a 4 burner gas grill, so I'm at beginner level on cooking meat. I've gotten more into grilling over the past year than ever. I stopped going out as much as I used to on the weekends, slowed my lifestyle a bit, per say. So I've found myself at home on the weekends more often than previously, trying to cook more and more things. I love good grilled food.....I should already be a total fatass lol
