Stumbled across my old photo album from my senior year in high school. Worked 50-70 hrs a week in a sock mill still in high school, lived with the parents, so it was all toy money! Damn I had some good times back in the day! Almost 10 yrs ago.

Somebody on the book of faces posted an article about how great the new Tesla cars are and I don't know much a out them but I did some at a store in Columbus and they had a bare chassis there that had some pretty questionable welds for such a high end car. Anyways a few people got pissed when I brought it up and I found a picture of one of them that I took and figured I would share it. I'm not a master welder by any means but I expect better for that kind of money

I work at American Honda and see thier ATV ...utv....motorcycle and car subframes. I've seen questionable stuff as well. However. ..u don't hear any of them being failure prone.

I do agree with what you're saying though.

I do agree with what you're saying though.

Questionsable hell!! That bottom guy is sketchy as FAWK!! My God I feel better about my rig now! Haha. That in that pic is garbage though.

I hearya....jus sayin'. ;)

I was told once long ago by a Rep that said some of those welds are just there to hold piece together while shipping / ease of installation and that once bolted to the car/vehicle they perform no structural task.

Hell, they make 6 fig's a year....they mus be doin something right. My EBT doesn't stand a chance against'em.

Edit: he just told me that thing weighs a 1.4 million pounds and can do almost 50 mph!!!!!!
