Yeah, just gets worse fuel mileage. When I first saw the codes I was wtf? Something wrong with my heater? haha. Then I looked the codes up and it is for the heated 02 sensors. Wasn't even aware there were 02 sensors with heating elements lol. I was gonna replace em all until I figured out the cheapest ones are $58 a piece. :o

Well... Fawk me. Coolant leak( water pump I think) .. P/s leak, (hoses rubbing together) tie rod end, Dam axle boot slinging grease EVERYWHERE, hell yeah looks like a good week.. 225k miles, alt and batts only thing replaced so far. Other than pretty much my whole front end, my fault for turnin torsions keys and no alignment I'm guessing. Think I'm going to turn the torsion keys down.. Has to be why hole in 2nd axle boot.. When you guys replace parts like this do you go and factory parts?? I'm curious if there's a big difference. Their damn sure better be, seeing as how a GM axle is somthing like 600 and Chinese **** was 100+.. Ya know i guess it is true , "if it ain't bed bugs it's piss ants".

^^^ You have a Dmax? If you do a GM water pump is a good idea. The pumps are fairly labor intensive. Not difficult but necessary to know a secret. If not a Dmax, no sweat on napa parts.

The aftermarket front axles are just fine. They don't see the stress like our rigs do. I have used a ton of napa and Oreilly axles and have had no issues.

All the 2500 Chevys around that year leak PS fluid especially when it gets cold. My 06 always did it. Dealer told me it was because how Chevrolet crimps their hoses.

Old pic of a friends cherokee. It was just ****ty factory axles/components at the time. This was directly after he had a flat tire too. Rough day in the woods. ;D

Damn....i like the middle version! Looks mean!

Thanks. Sometimes I think I should have just threw the big axles/tires under that setup and left it. Oh well. It is currently all cut up again and I do consider incorporating cherokee skins in the future.

While we're posting up Cherokees here's mine doing what it does best, staining my driveway.

Looks good man. Did you run reinforcements along the unibody frame rails?

Of course not but my new mounts for my suspension is made from .25" x 3" angle that runs from the old front mount and ties into the leaf mount and ties the xmember in with it. Maybe one day I'll get off my ass and put them on.

Since we're doing before and after, my little $800 security truck turned rock crawler. About to trade it or this RCV'd, chromo'd and doubled 'Sploder. Had to get a family friendly rig. :dblthumb:
