Hey, I promise you I was fearful for my job about this time last year. I have no reason to make up ****. For the first time in my 10 years with Siemens, I wondered whatbin the hell am I gonna do if they lay us all off, and i had nothing. Not that many jobs around here that pay good money with no college degree. We landed a huge generator contract with Egypt and a boatload of service work and things picked back up. Now, they are saying that in 2 years, if our new Baukasten generator design the engineers are working on doesn't sell like hot cakes, it may spell trouble for us yet again. Plus I was getting back into school and didn't want the upkeep of a fullsize rig and I was getting a little burnt out on it at the time. Several factors played part in that.
But I assure you, fearing for my job was very real. You guys can think what you want, what do I have to gain by lying about fearing for where my paychecks are going to come from? I'm a one man operation, nobody helps pay my bills if I am not able.
