Hes afraid to pull the 8.1, he pulled the jeep once and it didnt fare very well, pretty cool pic of it hooked to the sled, post it up onepiece

Them trees life span usually isn't a whole lot. The get big like that then they split. Only way I have seen to counteract it, is to top them out whenever they start getting pretty. Anytime a wind storm comes through you can drive around and count the ones laying down.

Got a guy that cuts down the trees that are above my skill/comfort/saw level. He had the contract for tree removals for an uppity area and several HOAs around here. Said that over 90% of his business was cutting up and removing Bradford Pear trees. He said my wallet loved those trees, but the homeowners sure hated them after every signle windstorm.

I'd cut it down!

That would be like running your FJ in SRRS. There's nothing near stock at this place, it's like the Super Bowl of truck pulling. My 8.1 would probably be the smallest displacement motor on the track.

If you like tractor pulling you need to come up here some year, I think there's usually 5-600+ hooks in a weekend. This is the 50th anniversary and I'm guessing there will be around 800 because they added a day.

It's just an all part in the campground. The air smells like stale beer, alcohol(the fuel type), diesel fuel and regret. I'll try and get you some good pics to show what it's all about. Some of those pics might have to go into a 35% thread.
