They aren't that gay when the sun goes down. They help a ton when it gets cool.

No doubt, we rode to Lynchburg a couple months ago and it just so happened to be a cold morning, was in the 30's when we started out. I had on blue jeans and my Keen steel toes which are riddled with breathable mesh, and a footie sock. Right ankle bout froze off, the left one never got cold one bit. :rolf:

A girl I work with bought one of these Craftsman 12 volt heated jackets from Sears. $180. She loves it and I had told another guy about it talking one day. He bought one that evening and said he really liked it also. Lightweight but warm. She planned to ride as long as possible now.

Girl said she was glad she went to the store to try them on instead of ordering online due to they are +- regular sizes.

Probably ain't rode mine in nearly 2 months due to various reasons: time, rain, wheeling instead, etc. I'm chompin at the bit. I've got 10 days off work beginning the 24th and I am hoping for some fair weather.

Decided I'm gonna hang on to this one a while longer. I'd like to have one of those Yamaha Strykers, but I hate to give up some of the creature comforts for style.

Had to move her out of the shop for a minute the other day, she is ready to ride. Sure does shine in the sun. Ole gurl is pretty sharp to me for a 10 year old Jap made loser-cruiser. Haha.

That's part of the creature comforts I dig lol.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Strykers, but they dont make any saddle bags that look worth a **** to me for it, obviously a big windshield would be gay and defeat the purpose of even changing bikes, but they are sharp bikes with a batwing. Some bags dont look terrible, but I kinda got exhausted looking at getting another bike all together.

I would love to have the big brother to my bike one day. Kawi Vulcan Vaquero 1700 with a 21" front wheel. This ***** is sharp.

Re:

I'm still diggin my ol honda. If I did longer trips I'd look into the interstate/Stateline varieties.

I'm sorta a minimalist on motorcycles. All that jazz jus looks busy to me.

Rode a MARTA in ATL last month. Holy **** I was a minority. No other white folks on there. I had to ask how to get a ticket and where to go and I couldn't understand wtf that lady was saying. Mind you I speak proper English and don't communicate with clicks and whistles

Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta.....minority, you don't say?

LOL...it actually says that when you Google question what a MARTA is! HAHAHAHHAAAA

A 1999 MARTA rider survey revealed that 78 percent of MARTA riders are African American. Furthermore, MARTA is sometimes sarcastically said to stand for "Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta", a replacement backronym, due to the relatively low number of white riders, particularly after peak commuting hours.

Yes sir. Celebrating a good day with Nan. Such a trooper and such a good person. I am already ready for another lunch date after the 1st. She and John were always easy to talk to and so welcoming to such a weirdo.
