Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

Quick trip to Michigan to pick up the wife's Lincoln last night. Damn rear brake pad greneaded. Wife's analysis on the phone was "whenever I try to put it in gear, it bangs real loud, feels like someone rear ends me, and the car won't move". I was thinking transmission. Story when I get here, "the brake pedal went all the way to the floor and now it doesn't have any brakes, oh, and its been making a grinding noise for the last week, but only when I slow down".

Replacing them in 6 degrees in a hotel parking lot this morning sure did suck.

After taking four semesters to pass two chemistry classes I took all my books notes, lab manuals, tests and everything out to a burn pile and unloaded about 5 boxes of shells into it then burned the crap out of it. It was one of the most therapeutic things I have ever done.

Lmao, that's funny. I am not taking any classes this semester, gonna have too much going on. Plan to start back in Summer if we are settled by then. Buying house from my buddy, him and his family are moving in mine to rent while they get ready to build a new one, building shop at new house, wedding crap, honeymoon crap (which would fall on the week of finals), etc. I almost took two more classes this semester, was registered and all, but ended up dropping them the day before they started. And the more I think about how much is gonna be going on in a couple months, no way in hell I would want to be burdened with school work too. Man I dread moving too! When I moved out of the parent's house into my current house, all i had was one room worth of crap and I hated moving that...7.5 years later, I have accumulated a crap ton more junk to move, yay. Haha.

I recommend throwing away as much as possible. We played chunk or keep and got rid of a few thousand pounds worth of stuff before we moved.

Well I'm having to build on a 12x24 storage room on the side of the shop for all the things Casie wants to keep that was her father's. So not only do we have to move mine and her stuff, we have to play chunk or keep with everything that was her father's, too. And she has done pointed to a large amount to keep. I started this year off with an extra week of vacation since I hit 10 years full time, so I have 5 weeks worth of time off now. I imagine a large majority of that will be consumed before it even gets summer time. Just ready to get all this behind us and be settled in....and have more room. Lol. 3 ppl in under 1000 sq ft is not cool.

Haha, well we can be sneaky like ninja's when we want...I'm just tired of the clutter. We haven't took the time to organize, because our stay there is temporary now. My ocd has been tested greatly lol. I say "pick some of this stuff up." She says "Ok, where do you want me to put it?" then I say "Good point....." Lol
