My 71 bump side...just finished installing DJM drop beams up front and doing the full hanger flip in the rear. New shocks all around as well. I also swapped disc brakes on from a 79 model which required rebuilding all of the brake lines and installing a proportioning valve. I've got a new set of 15x8's wearing 275/60r15's for the rear and 15x7's wearing 245/60r15's for the front. They will be painted Wimbledon white like the top and bottom of the truck and will have chrome FORD dog dish hub caps. Just painted the last wheel today so hopefully I'll get them installed tonight.

These are great trucks! Better snag one quick before Gas Monkey makes them all worth entirely too much...

Today's new find on a job. This was done by a multi million dollar construction company in Knoxville. They have a name for doing the best work. The homeowner looked at me like I was crazy when I told them this was a huge no no, but sir the great/best construction company said this was the best way. Homeowners words word for word. I ask what engineer signed off on this??? No inspection either??? The next words are we need this fixed but real cheap. See we just spent 3mil to remodel this old house. **** me some people!

3mil job too why they do that I don't know??? They added another shower drain, but forgot to hook the drain back up at the shower and forgot to put a clean out plug back in. Every time they flushed or showed everything ended up in the crawl space. Nasty ****

At least it had a pipe strap on it. LOL

Awesome. The prices are already pretty crazy considering the condition of most.
 
Had XJs for a good 15 years so I got this. Guess I gotta go back to Yotas now.

Actually, it looks like the door is already up by the lights reflection. What I don't understand is why they compromised the beams structural integrity by cutting any of it especially when they could have problem ran a low track slider for the door? Plus, it looks like it could be thin wall steel and being approximately 16" siamesed, I am not sure what it's purpose it serves. Just my observation for what it's worth. :dunno:

I drew the design so I knew how many it had. Oddly enough prior to 97 XJs had 8 slot grills.

Sharp truck! I love the bump sides.
Mine is a 68 f100 ranger that's been in my family since the early 70s and was left to me when my uncle passed.
