I show them electra's to her all the time on the road and tell her "see, when you get bored of riding, you can just go to sleep back there and not fall off. Lol.

Go to The Bike Exchange page on Facebook. They customize newer used Harleys and make some of the cleanest, not over the top, meanest looking bikes I've seen.

This is what I'd like to have. Electra with tour pack on, Street Glide with tour pack off. Thing is so bad.

Each and every one of these are my definition of perfect bikes.

Any more details? Did the trans go and the clutch explode or the clutch explode and the trans is fine?

That's not a cheap trans to fix either, and good luck finding a decently priced used one.

Initially the pilot bearing went out and scarred the output shaft snout. I pulled the trans and replaced the bearing with an oil-lite bushing, along with new clutch/flywheel. Put new mopar equivalent fluid in and rocked on. A couple hundred tow miles later, it developed a light clatter at idle. But this was only fully warm and in neutral. Otherwise it shifted and sounded great. I assumed this was due to the bushing I installed, which are known to be noisy.
I took a gamble and towed with it again and It came back to bite me. 2.5 hrs from home the trans suddenly locked up and exploded the clutch. A
$625 tow bill later, I got home with a locked trans and a brand new exploded clutch.
It's going to be a $3500 fix. I don't buy used. In going with a reputable rebuilder.

I know he's to small for it right now but couldn't pass the deal up for 200$. 1986 Honda 70. Runs like a sewing machine. Gonna do a little resto on it.

Had that happen to me once.....the guy who installed my motor and trans didn't put a pilot bushing in it at all.
