I got 2 porters and 5 ipa's. That's usually what I lean towards too.

Way back when, when mags were the go to. The most vile, dark, sick **** you could think of...The Germans would have a mag devoted just to that.

The Japanese are into some weird ass **** too.

I don't see how or why these motorcycle guys ride in this kind of weather. They're wearing like another 50 lb of clothes just to ride around. I would imagine it defeats the whole purpose of the enjoyment of the open air on a motorcycle.

Way back when I could only afford one car. I let the wife drive it while I drove the bike everyday 45 mins to work. 20 degrees and below would hurt no matter how much you wore. The only time I didn't ride was when it was supposed snow or ice. I did that for two years straight.
The only good part of winter riding was the lack of grass clippings.

It aint that bad when you have a batwing fairing covering your hands like that cop, and probably grip heaters. Most loaded touring bikes come with heated grips now. They also come with lower fairings that block most direct wind from your legs. All that paired with the right gear makes it tolerable.

Part of the wife's Christmas is usually a trip somewhere. This year 300 miles from home the danged ol Dodge lets us down again. No tools and no way to fix it myself, tow and shop bill was around $700, fuel pump. I could have fixed it myself for around $200 had it happened closer to home. :( RTR

I'm gonna miss my jeep but this Ranger sure is a lot of fun in the snow and will probably be a lot easier to get away with cruising the edges of the fields than a LS powered Jeep on 43s.

About to do the tour at The Lost Sea. My 4th time here over the years, the wife and kid's 1st time. Little man is gonna love it. Highly recommend this place to anyone that is into geological wonders and such.
