That's cool, before I moved into Shipping, I worked in Parallel Rings then worked in Stator Coil dept for Siemens Energy. This is one of our generators without the rotor installed, stator assembly only. I have been a part of building many stator coils and exciter/turbine end basket assemblies that are in power plant generators all over the world. My favorite job was building the parallel rings that are pictured around the outside of the nearest end of the generator in the pic. That's the exciter end basket assembly. I miss manufacturing some days, less bull**** and cooler work, but I have a pretty gravy job now in Shipping.
We build all the generator components and ship it all to our Charlotte Plant for final assembly.
