Passenger side front looked identical.
Wonder how long he looked at this tire and thought, “I still got a few more miles...”

Awesome! I saw a BRO-truck like that broke down on the interstate shoulder last week. Driver front wheel had like -10 degrees camber. I'm guessing a ball joint or unit bearing let go. Looked like 35-37" tall tire with likely 1" of backspacing on the wheel. LOL

Damn landscapers....tryin' to make a livin' while I'm tryin' to keep my ride clean. Fukemall....

Lmao, buy it.

Looks like you are at my uncle's junkyard, J&L auto parts. That long building in the back of the pic is an old chicken house my granddad used to grow chickens in.

These guys were having a rough day. Saw them there when I was getting gas and they didn't have a battery for their car to turn around on the tow dolly because of the flat tire so I help them out with my jump box and got them flipped around.

They couldn't figure out why the tire would have blown because it had good tread. I told them maybe it was because the wheel is turned at a pretty good angle and they scrubbed it all the way from Chattanooga. Hmmmm...

Are you at the gas station right there at the exit ramp off the interstate, the one that has ( I think) a bar b que restaurant in it?

I guess that truck started out red?

Some questions are best left unanswered.

I felt like I was in that scene from Fast and the Furious...."I owe you a 10 second car, this is your car.....I said a 10 second car, not a 10 minute car". ....only a Nissan version. LOL

Why did they have it on backward to begin with?

Front was too low...didn't want to cave in the bumper cover. It appeared they had reached the level of "**** it" and rammed it up on there though.

I would've thought they did because it's rwd and they didn't wanna pull the driveshaft.

It was a manual car....didn't really inquire much about their decision making after seeing the front wheels locked at an angle. I didn't feel the need to be Capt. Hindsight. :)

I mostly towed big trucks and if the drives were rolling to tow it then the driveline had to be disconnected whether it was a manual or automatic. Boss made the little wreckers do the same for little cars. Disconnect the drivetrain or they had little wheel dollies they could pop under the wheels pretty easily.

That car looked BEAT even on the inside. They said they bought it to part it out, but after spending gas to get down to Chattanooga....tow it back, the time/labor to part it out, I wondered if they'd even break even. When it did crank, it was spitting coolant from the radiator and even had a pool of it around the intake manifold.

I dunno....people smarter than me with more time I guess.
