Hell yeah it is! I need some sunshine and 50-60 degree weather minimum! It will be here soon. For a minute there I thought you said Googles...

I got the Small Walmart knockoff, and it does just as good. I can't bring myself to pay that much, and only use it a few times a year. And everyone that can't afford one, would probably steal mine if I did ever get one.

Just got an awesome idea while boxing/crating up some **** at work. Had this pre-built crate empty at our warehouse and I'm using it for a large small-parts order going out to one of our site customers.

It's the perfect size for a shop bench at 65 long by 24 wide. Would be cool to build damn near exactly this same box, put heavy duty legs on it and maybe even a lower shelf a few inches off of the floor for bonus storage and to help brace the legs more. Then do a hinged lid similar to this one but capped with some thick plywood so as to have a smooth table surface on top.

Would be great to store power tools inside and other odd tools/materials you didn't want collecting dust. I hate the hell out of storing **** on shelves and in a few months, all the **** be covered in dust and everything looks like ****. Could also screw some plastic storage containers similar to those in tackle boxes to the under side of the lid, that way when you flip it up, you could have storage for sawzall blades, circular saw blades, bits, and whatever other small stuff that may go with the power tools stored inside.

Being that the lid is hinged and has to open to get **** out would create incentive to keep the top cleared off instead of puting **** on it that never moves for months/years like I done in my old shop. Of course this wouldn't be the only work surfaces in the shop, but more of a multi-purpose storage/work station. Idk, may be dumb, but I think it would be handy as hell for me.

Maybe this is random/interesting enough for muffinmetal. Lol
