So, I was taking my daughter to a bday party last night. We're driving down the highway in the Jeep doing about 50. I started get a bad vibration, so I went ahead and backed out of the gas. Then all of a sudden it sounded like a bomb went off. The front driveshaft broke loose at the transfer case for some reason and beat the hell out of everything before I could get stopped.

I've heard if the drive shaft center ball goes bad this can happen. Have you been hearing a bird chirping noise coming from the Jeep?

Nope, sure haven't.

I did notice once the front driveshaft was out, and I fixed the fuel lines that it ripped out. The Jeep does drive alot better/smoother. I'm thinking the front shaft was way out of balance since I got it. Just hate it took this kinda damage for me to realize it.
