Power steering pump what kind?

just got a 1968 jeepster commando

has a small block 400 in it does not have a power steering pump
has the steering gear moved from the fire wall to the frame up front
what kind of pump do i need, will be turning 37' tsl's

I'd say get some saginaw pump with a tear drop res. with a v-belt pulley...build some brackets.....get a couple lines made and run it.Throw a cooler in the return line for fun and get some.

I have the adapter bracket and box to bolt onto the frame where the manual box was. We were going to use it in my buddy's 2 years ago, then he decided to sell it and get a Wagoneer instead.

SOUNDS GOOD THANKS FOR THE INFO GUYS, I ALREAD HAVE BOX MOUNTED TO THE FRAME AND THE STEERING SHAFT HAS BEEN MADE AND HOOKED UP TO THE STEERING GEAR BOX, :awesomework:
