Problems shifting into 4wd

Good evening all, I just picked up a 99 2500 v10 auto 4x4 and I can't seem to get it into 4x4 low, 4x4 high or 4x4 neutral. The truck is in 2Hi right now and I can shift into 4Low but the shifter doesn't want to stay in 4Lo. I cannot pull the lever back at all. My truck does have a 3" body lift and 6" suspension lift. This is my first 4x4 so I am new to 4x4 repairs. The local off road shop seems to think maybe my body lift is interfering with the shift linkage. I tried adjusting the shift linkage with no results. I can't see anything interfering with the linkage. Something wrong with the transfer case maybe? I'm hoping somebody that knows more might be able to come over and have a look since I'm new to the 4x4 game (I wrench on other cars, but know nothing about transfer cases and such).

Linkage! When I did a body lift all my linkages needed to be lengthened. Actually welded in 3" rods in the linkage.Might be hitting around the hole where the lever goes thru floor.
