This is my first build. I'm working in my 96 XJ. I've got seats working on bumpers and tow points roll cage to come soon. It's got 35in buckshots. Any advise would be appreciated.

Shackle relocators. Freed the rear ended of mine up a ton. The stock angle was garbage.
And lots of frame stiffeners. Hooligan Offroad makes some that wrap the frame. Most everyone else just plates the outside.

Steering box brace for sure if the unibody/frame stiffeners do not already address the steering box.

Interesting Project Name. How did you come up with that?

I'm ordering the steering box brace tomorrow and I made plates for the outter side of the unibody for the steering box and its tied into the bumper I'm making.

I came up with the name with my buddy Eddyj. I made the money I bought it with and am building it with making corndogs.

Don't make the mistake of tearing the whole thing apart to "build it right the first time" .
Embrace the redneckory and get out in the woods and enjoy what it is.

x2

if you want a "better/built/badass" rig, then ride the beater while you save up to buy a better rig.
Much more fun than having a took apart never ending project sitting in the garage.

This right here is the best advice so far. I am and have been in build mode way too long and have missed a lot of wheeling because of it.

Yea I agree. I'm just cleaning up some wiring and some safety precautions then I'm gonna take it out.

I ordered a steering brace from rustys offroad. And I think I'm gonna wait on the frame stiffners. This isnt along term rig and I dont know if they will be worth the money or time

Went on my first ride last weekend after starting a roll cage and installing a steering brace.

Made it back on the trailer under my own power. All and all it was a great day. Made it up the right side of the ledges and stoney.

I forgot to tell you that you can't post any pics with the "other" guy that was with us. It's a long story but we're not allowed to speak his name here anymore...
