I did arrive at the assumption that 8 leaves was too much for the rear, so I removed 2. I wasn't sure if the overloads were a good or bad thing. As far as drivetrain, most definitely LS. A manual trans does fit the KISS method, but I want an auto just for driving convenience. This will be a capable, SAFE, and easy to drive vehicle for myself, the wife, dad, friends, or anyone else to jump behind the wheel. I don't want to give away too many secrets, but I think we're going to throw a 6l80 behind the LS. Reasons for choosing this trans are: super deep first gear, double OD, they hold power well, and it's just cool! Lots more electronics compatibility headaches will arise from this option I'm sure, but I think we can get it done and it'll make for one hell of a swap and a video!</p><p></p><p>You're not the first person to warn me about ear protection since this video dropped. I'll do better, I promise! Grinder noise honestly has never bothered me. Still, better safe than sorry.</p></blockquote><p></p>
