Have this gem in at work right now. Yes, all of those boxes/racks/tubes and the bed are PACKED with ****, along with the whole back of the cab. Stacked blocks for lift, s-shaped springs from being massively overloaded. Rear diff is blown to bits with all of 90k on it. Oh, it's got 8 of the cheapest off-road lights you can find on the front, 4 on the bumper 4 on the roof rack too, positive battery post has 5 or 6 ring terminals stacked onto it for all the "accessories"

They're all Stanley job box type stuff except for the center luggage box deal and the ****ter pipe storage stuff. A co-worker and I did come to the conclusion today that if he didn't own stock in a company that manufactures carabiners that he should buy some, there are literally carabiners holding other carabiners just clipped to **** inside the cab. And cup-holders everywhere (including 2 in the middle of one of the ex-cab windows).

I got it put back together today and drove it, thing wallows around like an old class A motorhome since there's so much weight and it's so high up.

Looks like it might be Umtanum Creek Falls.

The hospice show was great. Spent way more time there than I thought I would.

that ol rusty truck was basically a 97 ford exploder 5.0 with selectable 4wd t-case 8.8 discs and auto trans.

Took these the other day...


So this peach is running around town...

Guy says it drives like a dream.

It has 1/2 ton axles... and the kicker is the front is a Chevy pass drop unit. So, yes... it has no front driveline, because the Tcase drop would be on the wrong side... it it had a Tcase. Yup, this baby is a 2wd. Even if it had a case, and a driveline, it wouldn't matter.. the front axle has no axle shafts.

It looks way worse in real life than in the pics... the front spring mounts are VERY shady, the ubolt plats are flat ~3/16" plat that are bent around the top of the spring, etc...

FYI... he said he has some like new 52" Michelins that he wants to trade straight across for some new 44's :hi:
 
WOW, report that to the Ghetto Fab thread on Pirate.

He put money into a hydro assist, but is running forward shackle (that's a new one on a solid axle swap) and it look like those rear mounts are about 8" wide... for what ever reason.



Atleast he picked RED as his accent color..... instead of the "look at my ****ty work" green that seems to be so popular.
