This got sent down the street from Maaco today, they wanted us to check out a transmission problem... Didn't mention on the phone that the whole front suspension was nearly torn out from under the car by whatever Dukes of Hazzard air time the thing had seen before they got it.

Nope... just a bed full of NEW Chevy parts for the kids truck. (2 fenders, new radiator, weather stripping, dash pad, etc...)

I found this for him for $75 bucks

He got about $500 worth of parts out of it, and I bought the truck from him for $100 ... so he ended up w/ a bunch of parts, and $25 bucks extra in his pocket. I ended up a/ a ****ty 2wd truck that has no oil pan, but is supposed to run :redneck: Apparently the guy put a new timing set in it, and never got around to putting the pan back on, and lost his house and had to unload it.

Gonna put a pan on it and see what happens!

Oh, and all of the other **** in the bed that wasn't new parts ... like the trash, old baby seat, old floor mats, etc... I also get stuck with.

I think I am getting ****ed on this deal :haha:

Yeah, not going to get rich, but it's nice seeing a little color once in awhile. That was from a tea bottle full of sand from my last trip to Long beach. I rigged up a mini sluice out of a piece of gutter, and an old floormat that probably came from elbe or evans. :redneck: It works pretty good. :cool:

I saw it once at the XXX in Issaquah.

Google "Six Pack Rat" and you'll find a bunch on it.
IIRC the rig uses a flipped over frame from a 6x6 military truck.
Pretty cool!
