Rear toy axle spline stripping?

Anyone every had or seen the splines strip on a rear Toy axle shaft?

Yes, this is a wide open question. I expect to here everything from the easy 4xers to the stuff your lead gas foot through the floor board hard core 4xers.

Really I just want to know if it happens and under what cercomstances.

The only guys I ever really see having rear axle issues on the toy stuff are the 2nd gen-up 4 runners(heavy)... There are a couple guys who have broke them running them under a normal rig but its not common. I have to give them credit the shafts are strong...

Thats what I thought. Someone mentioned it to me as a beware. I have never seen any axle with stripped splines. Broke, YES, not stripped. Thanks Crash

That bumper is now painted a nice gloss black.

the axle will break at the thin point at the splines, twist the splines or the r&p will go. those are the weak points in a toy rear end.

I stripped a front 30 spline cromo axle,,but thats alot different then a rear...
I have nly seen rear snap,,not strip..
