here is how my day went:

i went to bed around 2 am, woke up drunk, then drove to monroe and met up with shawn (slidillon). andgelfly couldnt get his driveline fixed, which i found out at about 4:30 AM, so from there we headed up to reiter to wait for marc, who never showed (or did he? i forgot what he drove, but when we were near the sand chasm, i was filming some rigs coming down the hill, and a 2 door cherokee jogged my memory. was that you?). so at 10:30 we hit some trails. drove most of the way up to the cell tower, then turned around and took a trail over the the sand chasm. we goofed around over there for a bit, and i think i really impressed shawn with my stock, unlocked, underpowered, bald tired toyota :flipoff: . we met a couple of my friends up by the sand chasm, then headed up towards the tower (again), but we didnt make it all the way up. we turned around less than 1/4 mile fromt the top. at that point, me & shawn went one way, my friends went another. we headed down to the main parking area, drove to the back, and headed thru the woods to the lower pit. once again, shawn was impressed with how maneuverable (and skinny) my truck is.

strangely, thru all of this, i never had a hangover. really bad cotton mouth, yes. headache, no. i guess thats what happens when you wake up drunk.

i only got one pic, and i will post that up when i get home.

.."i really impressed shawn with my stock, unlocked, underpowered, bald tired toyota".....Almost enough that I thought about selling off the TJ for a Toyota:wtf: ......Yeah, not really:D

I am starting to think that I need some BFG Mud terrains though. The AT's weren't the best in the areas that had snow.

if i recall, you said "man, i am pretty impressed you made it up that." i think it was after we drove up the trail with all the river rocks in it.

i showed up, without my damn phone in my 2 door cherokee, late, and hung over. sorry man
thats cool. maybe next time. what time did you get there?

all right, maybe the wording was a little different. maybe it was "man, i am actually kind of impressed at how well your doing".

anyway, here is the picture. the only one i thought of taking. sorry its so small, but i had to crop it and reduce the size to make it small enough to upload. not used to being stuck with only 87.9 kb.

Thanks for the pic. Now I have something cool for my desktop. I'll bring along a camera next time so we can get some pics of your unlocked yota with bald ass tires making it up Isabel:D

I might be able to hit Reiter again this Sunday if there is any interest. Hopefully so many people won't be quite as hung over.

Was there anyone here that was at Reiter Monday? Saw a group with a couple XJ's, an older Bronco and a Landcruiser.
