Not the way the group I was in went over it.....straight over the top, no winching involved, the fancy part is the 4 or so foot vertical drop off the backside.

Sounds more like a go around to me seem's the original line would be harder. I idled right up that slab on my Maxxis :flipoff:

Doing both, I would agree.:; Getting thru the rock on the right side of the slab was a bit tricky without flopping over.

The purpose of this trail is to access those rocks. Driving on a big boulder is hardly a go around the way I see it.......

Well being the 3rd trip on the trail, and the 2nd all the way through run, I don't think you could call anything a bypass yet. Admit it, 1 guy, on the first run through made off camber left when it was fresh terrain. how close did either of you make it on the last trip? and how close would you have come this last trip??? That is an impossible line now, the only way is to climb the slab and slide over to the "origional line". In my opinion this trail is all about consequences, and there are no bad consequences to the origional way, and already out of the last trip the slab claimed one rig by way of tumble.
