Any body using retreads? Had a look at high tech retread, they have the old MTR style tread, Im just wondering if the "Glueing" would stand up to and aired down tire.

ive read over and over about reviews on tread wright whitch i think is the same company as your refering to but that is the plan for my cummins dually :cheer:. the mtr style is what im going with, 7 33s load range E to my door for under a grand is what i was quoted i belive. my roommate is also going with the new 35 17r(its not avail till next month). its hard to pass up by lookin at the prices. ive also read over and over that there customer service is amazing.

i did read a few reviews about people airing downfor wheelin and having no problems but low air pressure is what kills retreads.

I had retread tires on my pickup when I bought it.

They vibrated so bad I couldn't even drive the truck.

I'm sure they are not all that bad but I wouldn't ever buy them.

if your just lookin for cheap tires you can find new tires from a few companys around the retread price, nankang is the only one i can think of right now but i know theres more.
