sami 22re install

im swapping in a 22re my questions are:

is the stock hard fuel lines in an 88.5 sami large enough for full throttle fuel supply they are a bit smaller than stock toy ('91 truck)

what external fuel pump are you guys using for this swap serial# & make, model if you have it

No, I don't think the stock lines would be big enough....should be 5/16" hard line for the RE setup...The stuff in a stock carbed sami is like 1/4"... On the pump thing, IIRC the Sidekick/Tracker 16V pumps run very close to the same PSI as the RE system...you may want to research this to be sure, but maybe a 16V Trackick tank assy would work???

thanks for the info i check into the sidekick pump earlier i think the pressure is down so is the volume. i dont know why i didnt think of trying the toy tank

Did you check for a 16V, or 8V ....Kick??? The 8V's were lower, but the 16V have much higher rating...35-38 IIRC.
