Thanks for the offer. Id forsure take you up on it if he didnt already have this one on the way. Only parts left to order is hiems for the rear suspension and 14" air shocks. Then tear down for paint and time for some 50hp woopow!
 
Redneck gauge mount. Not the prettiest thing.

clutch going to be on left of trans, brake and skinny pedal gonna be on the right side..

Heard of this before. Also from what i remember dont it dry hard as powdercoat?

Well, naw, cause it's still paint.

Powder coat is baked on and gets hard, almost like a shell.

I painted the f/r bumpers and both sliders on this with about a half quart of paint and 1 can of spray. Bout $20 for all of it. (1 qt of paint $11, 1 can $5, 3 rollers $1/ea)

Gotta make sure and let each coat dry. I did 2 coats.

The hammered paint blends and covers well, especially if you want to touch up the outside of the buggy every year to keep 'er lookin sharp.

Big difference in $50 for paint and supplies vs. a couple hundred $ for powder coat.
